$1,000,000 Fire Restoration Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company On a spring afternoon, a large fire broke out in this unique and contemporary single family home in Potomac, Maryland.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service crews quickly responded to the two alarm scene. Upon arrival, smoke was visible from the roof. As the fire continued to spread, flames shot through the top floor of the house. The damage encompassed all floors of the home—from the roof down to the ground floor. It was determined that the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction.
Once the fire was extinguished, Minkoff Company was retained to for full-scale restoration services, from the initial stabilization to full reconstruction. Repairs were made to the roof, entryway, master bedroom, kitchen, as well as an atrium with vaulted ceilings. Despite the unique, modern architecture and numerous custom finishes, Minkoff was able to complete the project full-scale reconstruction within several months.
