An arsonist’s fire spread quickly at Lakeside Terrace Condominiums, completely destroying the penthouse locker and storage area. Minkoff responded quickly, dispatching emergency crews to sort and discard debris from this area. In addition to the fire damage, there was extensive water damage to the lobby and ten residential units.
During the restoration process, one wing of the storage structure was completely rebuilt. A new sprinkler system, a new fire alarm system and new storage lockers were installed.
Other repairs included elimination of smoke damage in common areas and individual units. Parquet floors and carpeting were replaced, drywall was installed and painted. The passenger elevator was thoroughly cleaned and deodorized to eliminate smoke damage.
