On Father’s Day, lightning struck a home on Rambling Ridge Court and touched off a fire in the attic.
The roof was heavily damaged, all four bedrooms on the second floor were gutted, and the first floor suffered extensive water damage.
Minkoff responded within hours of the fire, despite the fact that it was a holiday, and provided immediate board-up to prevent unauthorized access to the property.
Minkoff was then contracted to perform all repairs. The entire roof was replaced using #1 hand-split cedar shakes. Insulation and wiring were also replaced. New drywall was installed and painted. High quality interior finishes, including custom carpet and wallcoverings, were used during the restoration.
